We are starting to do more and more is this concept "Board & Train".
Do you have any problems with your dog that need to be solved or are you going on holiday and your dog's obedience needs a tune up.
Then you can drop your dog off at our facility, and we train with the dog all the while it lives with us in a heated kennel.
We will have had a good talk about what can be done within the agreed time, from when you hand the dog over to us and we train it until you pick it up again.
We are not magicians, so for us it is important that we align expectations before we start a process.
If there is any training that we simply cannot achieve with the time we have available, we will tell you before the dog is handed over to us.
It may also turn out that the dog is not as easy to work with as first assumed and we therefore cannot reach the desired result with the time available.
But all of this is something we have an ongoing dialogue about.
When the time has passed, we make a handover with the training we have done so you can continue working on it when the dog comes home.
We recommend a minimum of one month of training to get the most out of your stay with us, most dogs usually need a week to adjust to their new surroundings, so the first week there is no maximum benefit from the training.
We use positive learning while the dog is with us, we work based on training, which must be fun for the dog.
However, we will set rules and limits for the dog in case of unwanted behavior, this can be with a simple no or a correction on the leash.
As we have limited space, there may well be a wait, so it is a good idea to book the stay ahead of time.
Prices are individual depending on what needs to be trained with the dog, as it also affects how much time we must spend on training, transport, etc.
But the base price is DKK 3,000 for a week, compared to most dog pensions cost DKK 200 per day for a boarding spot.
